Tattoos are used to express many things. For instance some people get tattoos in order to remember a loved one, or some people get tattoos of historical figures that made a certain impact upon there lives. Whichever tattoo that a person gets, it always represents something that has meaning as well as relevance.

Therefore this year Mega Productions Body Art Expo in Pomona, California, was a great turn out for the ink fanatics. With the raspy sounds of the tattoo guns going off every couple of feet, the success of the show was definitely worth the pin and the needles. Fans of Chicano rap were also treated to a surprise celebrity appearance by Lil’ Rob, who stopped by to get inked by Jose Lopez from Lowrider Tattoo. As the crowds gathered and word spread, all eyes turned to Jose as he worked his magic on Lil Rob.

2. i don't have any tattoos because i have not found one that has enough meaning for me, one that i can show to people and feel proud to have on my skin.

A Virgen Guadalupana to watch his back or a Sagrado Corazon to show him the way.

A cross on his hand to guard him from serving up injustice or a ring of thorns on his neck as a reminder to fulfill his life before he departs.

His body is the shrine for all these and more, a visual exposition of the soul inside.

From head to toe tacas can be found, and they tell the story of what is most dearest to the modern Pachuco.

Prison towers, block walls, windows with iron bars, cobwebs, calacas y mascaras or some olde-english letras, down to “A Black Hand or a Bloody Machete” The marks of La Eme or La Nuestra.

And so the Pachuco carries on with the tradition, in the form of the Vato Loco!
